Challenge

First-year medical students often struggle to differentiate between complete H&P documentation and focused SOAP notes, leading to confusion during assessments and clinical encounters.

Goal

Design an interactive eLearning module that clearly explains the SOAP structure, demonstrates the difference between documentation types, and allows students to practice writing and self-evaluating real clinical notes.

Solution

We developed a fully storyboarded, interactive learning experience using real patient examples, rubric-aligned guidance, branching case simulations, and SOAP note writing challenges. The module was delivered in both PowerPoint and Articulate Storyline-ready formats to meet varying LMS capabilities.

Role
